The real AucDoc

Lawrence (Larry) Anthony Pannell
1947 - 2003
Tributes were paid to a 56 -year-old pioneer of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Larry Pannell (AcuDoc) who lost his fight with a rare illness.
Tributes were paid to Larry Pannel who lost his battle with a progressive illness on Thurs Aug 22 Pannell, 56, of Twin Falls Idaho, died at home with members of his family present.
On Pannell’s 44th Birthday, he woke up ill and was eventually diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a rare lung disorder in which the blood pressure in the pulmonary artery rises far above normal levels.
It was this that led to a suspected heart attack. Although the outcome was expected, it still came as a shock to family and friends.
Mr Pannell was a member of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. The group’s spokesman Paul Pennington said: "Larry was not only very brave he was also an inspiration to all who knew him. Even though he suffered he carried on helping those he felt were more deserving than himself.
"He and his wonderful family have done so much not only to raise vital awareness of pulmonary hypertension but also to provide help, support and understanding to others with or affected by the condition. He will be sorely missed."

Hahahahahahahaha

Oh Quacky you take the cake now you profess to be two steps down from a Eagle Scout claiming your a Life Scout

You lying piece of shit even to be a life scout you have to be able write and spell ?????

Life Scout Ceremony
This Ceremony is meant for Life scouts.
Decide for yourself if it is appropriate for your younger scouts or not.
Script: Leader: _______, please come forward.

Leader: ______, in receiving your Life rank tonight, you have fulfilled your last step before taking on your Eagle requirements. You have shown that you can lead your troop through serving and guiding others. You have shared your Scouting experience with younger scouts following after you. You have helped your patrol and troop grow in strength and character.

Tonight, you enter that small group directly working towards their Eagle rank. In doing so, you must not only give service, you must also lead others in performing a service project of your choosing. Your willingness to do so will be a pledge of service and a sign of your understanding of the ideals of Scouting. When you are finished with the requirements, you will be worthy to join those few who are Eagle Scouts.

(hand out Life badge)

Leader: Let this Life Scout badge remind you of the life of service that will shine as a guide to lead you on the trail to manhood.

Life
Life is second highest rank attainable by a Scout in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Life Scout ranks above Star Scout and below Eagle. Life is awarded when the Scout serves actively in the troop, team or crew, serves in a position of responsibility for 6 months, and performs 6 hours of community service. Another thing a scout must do in order to achieve Life is earn an additional five merit badges (three of which are required for the rank of Eagle), to make a minimum total of eleven merit badges (including the six previously required for Star). Finally, the scout must pass a written examination on Scouting and its history attend a scoutmaster conference, and be interviewed by a board of review. Not all candidates become Life Scouts for various reasons.

Life was originally lower than Star. It was changed in the 1920s when it was decided that the five-pointed star better represented the five merit badges required for Star, and the two were switched.

When I was in the Boy Scouts in the early 60's we "scouts" never thought about all of this pc stuff. It was to be able to go camping and hang with friends.

Even though on weekend outing there were the church services we were required to attend, we really didn't think much of it. And the whole gay issue was really in the closet.

Didn't make Eagle, I was two merit badges short when I moved to Laguna from Merced so I ended up a Life Scout.
