Celebration of Life of Kathy Benet
This is an update to a previous announcement. We now have more details. The activities will be divided into three parts:
THE CHURCH:
Date: Tuesday October 7, 2008
Time: 11a.m. Celebration of Life Nonsectarian Service
Place: San Carlos Borromeo Catholic Church
THE SPREADING OF ASHES:
Immediately following the church service a small group of invited guests and Kathy’s family will have a private moment to spread her ashes in the Sea ofCortez. We ask those who have been invited to bring flower petals (such as bougainvillea) to spread with Kathy’s ashes. This should take about an hour.
Time: 12:20p.m. – 1:30p.m. (About)
POT LUCK LUNCHEON:
Charly’s Rock will be open immediately following the church service. There will be people to greet you. We invite you to bring a dish to share and beverages of your choice. Charley’s Rock is closed on this day however they have opened the restaurant in Kathy’s honor and ice will be supplied.
The family will join you after they complete Kathy’s wishes to have her ashes spread on theSea of Cortez. We hope for lively music and a good time to celebrate the life of a very special person—the way she would want us to party!
